Permit Rulebook

Talent — employee of an innovative company

The rules, quoted and dated:

For a job at a company France officially recognises as innovative, in work tied to its research and development. The salary threshold is the same as the qualified-employee card, and no French degree is needed. Every number on this page is the authority's own sentence, with the page it came from and the day we read it. This page is for people who need a permit to work in France. This page describes the rules; it does not decide on you.

Algeria: France applies a different agreement to you

For Algerian nationals, France applies the agreement of 27 December 1968 instead of its own immigration code — the Conseil d'État said so, in a case about a shopkeeper's permit rather than a talent card. The page France sends an Algerian reader to offers a one-year certificat de résidence: no passeport talent, no EU Blue Card. Against that, the EU directive behind the Blue Card covers third-country nationals and names no exception. We searched the official sites on 2026-09-10 and found no page that settles it — so we do not guess. The four routes below are shown with their rules, and whether they are open to your passport is not something this site can tell you.

What the checker asks, and what it does not

Every number below is quoted from an official page, and a daily check re-reads every source. On this route — quoted and dated · scored against your answers. Every rule that decides this route is a question you answer: the work tied to the company's research and development is the situation you declare, and the recognition the company itself must hold is the employer question. Both are stated in the authority's words beside your answers.
